She mainly finds her vision from within, and many of her work, even though commissioned, leaves behind a trial of what she believes to be an expression of her inner self.
Drawing inspirations from various life experiences, music and inner intuitive thoughts, she is focused on the beauty of the Unseen. She sees photography as a tool to translate what is in the unseen to something tangible, and something one can keep. Through her work, Cheryl hopes for others to see the world the way she does. Besides communicating to others the beauty her eyes see, she also aspires to instil a sense of self-worth in the subjects she captures. She would describe her style as one that is experimental, yet relatable.

Sometimes life feels very much like a waking dream, and very often one struggles to take a side; between reality and imagination, between the things we think and things we feel, between things of the mind and things of the heart.. And thus, we find a resting place in the borderlands. Cheryl would describe her photographs as borderlands of such.
Cheryl Faith also directs film, and is able to provide her creative input for conceptual design, exhibition / installation, above her photography work. She is particularly interested in creating short form videos for client's social media platforms such as Instagram & Tiktok.

Her clientele includes but is not limited to: Adidas, Fresh Beauty, Samsung, G-SHOCK, Levi's, Hoolah Co, Fox Sports, Hua Wei, Ogilvy & Mather.

Borderlands; A Project on North Korean Millennials
Cheryl Faith has a passion in using her craft to tell stories of North Korean millennials as well as social topics related to this subject matter.

In her bid to shed light from a unique perspective on the deep human experiences of North Koreans, she took on the role of a creative director to paint the narrative of North Koreans through three main art and intersecting media forms: photography, film as well as experiential spaces (installations).
Her work related to North Korean defectors could be found in the 'North Korean Project' tab of this website.
